Holidays in the Mountains 

Pension Schösserhof is nestled idyllically amid the Zillertal mountains, in the community of Gerlosberg at an elevation of 1,000 m, above the town of Zell im Zillertal. The Schweiberer family treats their guests to personal service, which makes the Schösserhof the perfect place for everyone wanting to put a little distance between themselves and the daily routine, and preferring to unwind, maybe out on our sunny terrace or stretch out, soaking up the rays, on our lawns. The children can visit the new kids' farm and play with our pony, cats, guinea pigs and dwarf goats. The adventure playground next to the house, with its trampoline, table tennis and table football, slide, swing etc., is a wonderful experience in its own right.

The Schösserhof is in the heart of the Zillertal Alps, serving as the base for shorter and longer hiking and biking tours. With countless refreshment opportunities along the way at numerous alpine huts.

Our farm stands in the midst of the Zillertal Arena, the biggest ski area in Zillertal  (the ski bus stops right next to the house). Magical ski runs, superbly groomed hills and breathtaking panoramas await our winter sports enthusiasts. And for those who prefer to take things a little easier, those winter hikes along romantic, snow-covered trails are an exceptional experience. One thing is for certain - your memories of the Zillertal Arena will stay with you forever. 

Any real Tyrolean farmer has his own schnapps distillery. Marianna Schweiberer invites you to come visit hers.

Because we are also a guesthouse, we even offer our apartment guests breakfast (buffet) or half board (incl. salad bar). We mainly use our own products, such as eggs, milk, bacon, meat, bread, jams and fruit (seasonal).
