Almhütte "Zillertal"

For all our guests who enjoy being close to nature, our charming alpine hut, which is called an "Alm" in Austria, is the perfect place for your holiday in the Alps. This hut is a true experience bringing you back to the roots. As a modernised alpine hut, there is power available, and there is nothing more delightful than the fire which warms up the comfortable living space. The newly renovated hut is situated at 1,800 metres above sea-level in the midst of picturesque alpine pastures with breath-taking views of the Zillertal alpine landscape. The hut offers unmatched tranquillity, yet is still accessible by car.

This cosy alpine hut has two separate sleeping areas, one dormitory, one fully-equipped kitchen/living room with a lovely sitting area, and a modernized bathroom with hot running water. In addition, the hut has its very own fresh water spring. Wake up in this beautiful alpine setting and go out and explore your delightful surroundings.

A few days spent in the mountains has a profound effect on mind, body and soul and you feel relaxed and refreshed. Up the mountains the concept of time changes, because you sleep when you are tired, and eat when you feel hungry. It gives you a chance to focus on your own internal clock. And for all those not keen on cooking, the restaurants Almstüberl Zellberg Buam and Hirschbichlalm will serve culinary delights for you to enjoy after a short walk. The two well-known restaurants Kristallhütte and Wedelhütte are also easily accessible from the Alm.
