The Floitenschlagstaude
The Floitenschlagstaude is a legendary and true story of the lone markswoman of the Tyrol. In the 1960s and 1970s, the name 'Staude' was spoken of everywhere. Elisabeth Hollaus was known as the 'Staude', the woman of the Floitenschlag, who learned how to hunt to feed her children. The story of her life is told in the book entitled 'Floitenschlagstaude' by Wilhelm E. Hofer. It is an exciting and gripping story of the extraordinary life of an extraordinary woman.
